ARELEEN NI BHAOILL

Special Guest performance along with The Muggivan School of Irish Dance

Areleen  Ni Bhaoill was born in Dublin, Ireland. She began Irish dancing at the age of 3 and was taught by Marie Duffy. Areleen is a two-timed World Champion and has also won Dublin, Leinster, Great Britain, British National, and All Ireland titles in both solo and team.

In 1993, Areleen was selected as part of the original Riverdance that was performed on the Eurovision Song Contest and continued on with Riverdance the show from 1994-1996, during which she performed the principal role with Michael Flatley and Colin Dunne.

In 1996, Areleen was approached to join Michael Flatley’s new project Lord of the Dance. Performing both the good and bad girl roles and the role of Dance Captain, Areleen toured Australia, Europe, Canada, North America, and South America and retired from touring in 2001

She has been teaching with Muggivan School of Irish Dance since 2006 and will be soon sitting for her TCRG exam.
